The best kind of Mexican food with great booth seating. Salsa bar is popping and the flour tortillas are delicious. I dream about the #6 enchilada and beef burrito combo. The beef is stewed and perfect.

Wow, was really surprised with how good it is. A lot of variety on the menu, nice clean salsa bar. Ordered the surf and turf, had plenty of tender flavorful carne asada - and good size shrimp, about 10 of them. Wrapped with rice and guacamole in a great ratio. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for Mexican food in this area.

This place is fire. The al pastor burrito I had was sweet, juicy, and packed with flavor — exactly how it should be. The guacamole hits perfectly, super fresh and creamy. You can tell they actually care about how they prep and marinate their meat; it tastes traditional, not like the usual fast-casual stuff. The shop itself is spotless, the prices are fair, and the people working there are genuinely nice. It feels like one of those real, local Mexican spots that just get everything right — good food, good energy, no shortcuts. Definitely my new go-to spot by Kaiser SDMC. Highly recommend the pastor burrito with guac.

Wow! It’s been awhile since I’ve had a delicious meal at a local taco shop, and let me tell you this place did not disappoint! I had the surf and turf burrito and it came out nice and hot! As simple as that, it was a perfect size for the right price! Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Food & service was amazing compared to a lot of our local restaurants and over time have raised their prices and lowered their quality and quantity. Thank you!

I've been eating at this place for about 10+ years. Consistent food taste and quality. I mostly have their tortas and burritos. I tried (for the first time) their California burrito and it was very tasty. Well seasoned, nice creamy base to it, and paired with their green avocado salsa made for a delicious breakfast. Can't beat the staples here. If yours in the area or not too far from it, it's worth the drive to have a good meal. Food tastes home made.

My epic quest to find San Diego's best burritos brought me to Harvest Taco Shop, a stone throw's away from the Kaiser hospital. I ordered their veggie burrito, which includes beans, rice, cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. The balance of ingredients was slightly off as some bites were mostly sour cream or shredded lettuce. Overall, a forgettable burrito experience as my burrito journey carries onward. I'm granting them +1 star for having one of the better self-serve salsa bars I've witnessed in this fine city. Help yourself to spicy red salsa, guacamole salsa, chipotle salsa, and more. Service was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating inside.
